This viral short documentary about Ice Swimmers was produced by Warren MacCarthy for the Great Big Story team from CNN, jointly with The Weather Channel. Warren MacCarthy directed and DOP’d the shoot. Camera: Marc Degenaar. The team travelled to the Afriski Resort in the majestic mountains of Lesotho, 3050m above sea level where oxygen is scarce and temperatures typically below freezing.
